"I ship primarily with Continental now--after sending animals around the world for over 40 years on Delta.. Continental has your baby breathe the same air as the passengers, so there are no temperature restrictions as with Delta.; they take great care and concern for your precious baby! If Continental does not fly to your City with live cargo; Delta probably will.  Delta costs about $100 more for the freight charges!
I ship out of Charleston, SC... flights go to Houston, if Continental; or Atlanta if Delta. then from there to you! I almost never book any flight that has more than ONE plane change. I charge a flat fee of $250--to ship to your airport anywhere in the lower 48 States that Continental flies their special planes.

PLEASE NOTE: If your dog is shipped by Delta because Continental does not fly live cargo to your airport of choice--please be sure that you understand the following:  Delta has temperature restrictions which absolutely preclude putting your pup on one of their planes unless it is 85 degrees or less at least 2 hours before the flight; and projected to stay below 85 degrees!  You may get up-to-the-minute temperature reports at my airport by going to  www.weather.com and looking for Charleston AFB in Charleston, SC.  You will then know exactly what the likelihood of his being shipped is!  Even with a reservation--he is not accepted for loading (or paid for) until he is at the cargo desk and all the restrictions are met!  I have no control over the weather.


When shipping a puppy; I make sure she has a an emergency supply of food, and sometimes a blanket with her mother's scent on it, if very young.. Continental does not allow toys or bones inside the crate. They have to be at least 8 weeks old to fly.. She will be in a brand new crate.

On top of the crate, in a taped on envelope, I include your copy of the Health Guarantee/ Bill of Sale, her Registration, and Pedigree if available, a copy of the Vet's Health Certificate for your records, and a complete shot and worming record. If over 3 months of age when shipped, depending on your State--I also have my Vet give her Rabies vaccination--and I will include her certificate and tag in the envelope, too. .

I always notify you by e-mail of her complete itinerary,  the arrival time, where to pick her up, flight number, and any special instructions depending on the breed, age, and size of your puppy.
I also have my Vet do a  physical exam before issuing the certificate--including temperature, exam of throat and lymph glands, stomach, heart, genitals, and lungs.

MY guarantee is what you would use to take to your Vet for her base-line exam.  Any special guarantees or comments will be written and signed on that.  The Health Certificate is issued by my Vet simply to assure that she has no infectious or communicable disease.

PLEASE NOTE:  it is much more complicated to ship a n animal than it is for you to hop a plane!  Many flights do not accept them aboard as freight, and many others  restrict them to only certain types of planes.  In addition; II must have your baby to the airport hours before the flight, and I live over an hour from the airport.  Please be patient as these arrangements are to assure your baby's health and well-being.  It may take nearly as long to  get to hold her in your arms as it does to get in goods you've ordered off the internet!  Allow me at least 2 weeks, it will probably be sooner.
